We have finalized our plans for the curbside distribution and pick-up of student items. We need your help to assure our pickup and drop off goes smoothly. Please read this letter in its entirety a couple of times prior to your scheduled pickup / drop off time and follow the directions carefully.

As a school we have decided NOT to collect the Relaunch Distance Learning Packets; however, if you would want your child's teacher to see his/her work, please put the packet in the drop off bag.

Food Distribution During School Closure

Johnston's Safe Routes to School
Safety remains our highest priority to ensure that students arrive and are dismissed from school in a safe and organized way. We ask everyone to correctly follow our pick-up and drop-off procedures. Failure to do so creates chaos, frustration and unsafe conditions. Each family should discuss these drop-off and pick-up procedures together.

Food Sharing Tables Introduced in AASD
According to the US Department of Agriculture, up to 40% of food produced in America is wasted, amounting to 31 million tons of food added to landfills each year. In an effort to reduce food waste in schools, the Appleton Area District will begin implementing food sharing tables in all school cafeterias starting on January 22.
