Johnston's Safe Routes to School

Safety remains our highest priority to ensure that students arrive and are dismissed from school in a safe and organized way. We ask everyone to correctly follow our pick-up and drop-off procedures. Failure to do so creates chaos, frustration and unsafe conditions. Each family should discuss these drop-off and pick-up procedures together.

Food Sharing Tables Introduced in AASD

According to the US Department of Agriculture, up to 40% of food produced in America is wasted, amounting to 31 million tons of food added to landfills each year. In an effort to reduce food waste in schools, the Appleton Area District will begin implementing food sharing tables in all school cafeterias starting on January 22.
